Scope of Responsibilities:To provide a senior HSSE management service across several Projects that is effective and suitable to support company and Project objectives. To ensure that the HSSE management service remains effective and suitable by effective management of competent personnel. To provide regular, reliable reports and data for monitoring Project HSSE performance and informing management decisions. To identify and promote opportunities for HSSE performance improvement on designated Projects; To ensure that divisional HSSE requirements are widely and consistently understood and implemented on designated Projects.
Roles and Responsibilities:Ability to work with people at all levels (staff, management, clients, subcontractors) to develop, maintain, communicate and implement the HSSE component of the business management system across several Projects.
Ability to identify, develop and implement practical HSSE improvements.
Ability to specify and manage the development of practical solutions to HSSE problems.
Ability to manage & develop a multicultural team of HSSE professionals within a wider integrated HSSE function across several Projects.
Understanding of certification processes and requirements (eg OHSAS18001, ISO14001).
Understanding of a wide range of construction processes, including: construction management, core and supporting processes (eg engineering).
Ability to plan and control within resource, budget and schedule constraints.
